Nestled in the countryside of Manheim, Chestnut Hill Villa proved to be the perfect wedding venue for Christine and Richard Merrill on their special day this past May. With raving reviews and a reputation that carries weight, Chestnut Hill Villa gave the gleaming couple a beautiful backdrop to an even more gorgeous day.
Boasting a clean, white reception space and an abundant amount of natural light, Chestnut Hill Villa provided an astonishingly stunning space. Details, such as antique furniture amplified the luxury of the venue and, when caught on camera, created a sense of timelessness.
Time was of the essence with a baby on the way and Christine found a dress that effortlessly hugged her curves, while also providing major glam. There is no doubt she caught the eye of every guest in attendance with a plunging neckline, lace overlays and layered tule. Not to mention she was dripping in jewels. Tear drop diamonds embellished her ears, while a princess-like necklace adorned her neck, and the glitz did not stop there. Her garter was bedazzled with silver beads sewed onto a pastel pink strand of lace, tying together the entire look.
A reoccurring color scheme of light pinks, neutral browns and deep greens played a huge part in piecing together the Merrill’s wedding day. The lavish wedding cake stood three tiers high with gold paint details and a blush fondant base. All topped with the monogram of Mr. & Mrs. Merrill.
Straying from the color scheme though, were the all white bridesmaid dresses. Most would not think to do this, as to not overshadow the bride, but it worked amazingly. To contrast the color scheme even further, Richard opted for a rich navy blue suit complemented by a pastel pink handkerchief and tie.
Completing the theme, the floral decor was soft, yet impressionable. Carrying over the color scheme of pastel pinks and greens, the ceremony showcased a rustic wood structure that would frame the couple as they said their ‘I Dos.’
Personal touches were everywhere. A custom engraved watch was gifted to Richard by his mother, which opened to a picture of him and his son. Not only that, but at the reception you had the option of picking up a coloring book with bitmojis of the bride and groom on the cover. Small details like these are easy to implement and don’t break the bank!
The newly-wedded couple were obviously no strangers to the dance floor. Showing off their moves, guests were soon to join in. It never hurts to have a group of people who know how to party!
The wedding soon ended with a splash as the daughter of the bride set off a chain reaction of jumping in the pool fully clothed! She was soon followed by her mother, now father, and a few groomsmen. That is one moment they will never forget.
This wedding not only covered aspects of personalization in the details, but also showcased a wonderful venue to have a wedding.
If this wedding doesn’t give you loads of inspiration, then I don’t know what will.
We hope this Dream Wedding will help you in planning your special day!
